Are You Looking for Used Combine Tires for Your New Fitness Center?

We live in interesting times. Old shipping containers are repurposed into pop up cafes and used combine tires become work out tools for fitness fanatics. As the world continues to find ways to repurpose items that would otherwise be cluttering up our landfills, it should come as no surprise that there are a number of ways that inventive entrepreneurs are working day and night to make the most of their latest ideas. From used combine tires to other kinds of tractor tire supplies, there are new ways that many of the items that we use on a daily basis can be kept out of landfills and put to a better purpose.

New and Used Tires Are Part of a Large Industry That Plays an Important Role in the Nation’s Economy

As they are initially used, tires of all sizes are an important part of many industries. From farming to transportation, in fact, tires help companies make sure their goods are delivered on time and crops are harvested successfully. The latest research indicates that there are more than 3 million farmers across the U.S., and all of them rely on heavy machinery to make sure that their operations are successful. When the farm equipment is no longer able to be used, however, these items can fill landfills and play a negative role in the environment. Fortunately, there are now a number of ways that many of these machines can be used for other purposes.

The fact that the farming industry accounted for $535 million of replacement tire sales in the U.S. in 2017 is just one indicator of how many old and used tires need to be either disposed of or repurposed. With the help of some inventive workout strategies, however, there are a number of tires that are finding a home as cross training athletes turn these large items end over end. Goodyear owns a 15.5% market share of the farm tire market for small farm replacement tires in the U.S., according to Modern Tire Dealer. The Goodyear company likely never realized, however, that their products would end up in fitness gyms around the country.
